When I was a kid, I had a bumper sticker that said |

"Mississippi State: THE University of Mississippi" |

This (literally) says "Mississippi State IS Mississippi!"

This is a nice logo, it looks GREAT on the basketball court, but there's a few problems with it: |
|
- You have a ribbon on your helmet. Ribbons aren't traditionally associated with masculinity, toughness, or SEC smash-mouth football.
- Since the ribbon covers the middle of the "M", it tends to obscure the letter, the four corners stick out, causing it to sometimes look like an "X" on TV long shots.
- The "STATE" doesn't read over a distance, causing TV viewers to have to wait for a close-up to see who's playing.
